If Christmas holidays are driving you crazy and you just need to get away for a few days before the Kids go back to school Then my big tip is to head to Happy Hallidays Holiday Park in Hallidays Point, Where that common cry – ‘I’m bored’- is never heard. How could you get bored when you can enjoy - the Famous Train Ride that is even plugged on Morning Radio, the park’s own nine-hole mini golf course, tennis court, basket ball, huge jumping pillow, afternoon movies and even the odd game of football on the big screen, newly refurbished electronic games room, kids nook, bring along your bikes or scooters don’t forget your helmets, the solar heated pool and the junior pool for the little ones.
There are kids activities from morning to night (during the NSW School Holidays), including our famous train ride, family discos, sand art, plaster painting, Pirate Pete and Flutterby the Fairy join us for free face painting and magic show, we even have the odd Zumba Class – just to name a few .
Not to forget there is an unspoilt beach with an ocean pool, just a short stroll from the park for swimming, fishing, surfing and long leisurely walks to start and end the day.
If Mum and Dad feel like a break from cooking it is just a short stroll to the local tavern for a meal or pizza or catch the courtesy bus to the Black Head Bowling Club for a meal at the Bistro.
And then if you still have time to spare there are plenty of local attractions to explore: Explore the many rainforest walks, waterfalls and national parks.
